Who we are

The Raise List ("we") sells a dataset of investor organisations and professional investor contacts to startup founders. Contact: [email protected].

Data about you (website visitors and customers)

We collect minimal first-party analytics (pages viewed, anonymous visitor identifier, referral source) to improve the site. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. When you buy, payment is processed by Stripe — we never see your card details. We store your email address and order details to deliver your purchase and provide updates.

Data about investors in the dataset

The dataset contains professional contact information about investors and investment organisations: names, job titles, organisational affiliations, business email addresses, and public profile links. This data is aggregated from publicly available sources, including investor directories, firm websites, and professional profiles.

We process this data under legitimate interest (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): connecting startup founders with professional investors whose business is receiving investment propositions, using professional — not personal — contact details.

Your rights — including removal from the dataset

If you are listed in the dataset and want your details corrected or removed, email [email protected] with "Remove me" in the subject line. We will remove you from the master dataset within 30 days; removals propagate to all customer downloads via our free-update mechanism. You also have rights of access, rectification, and complaint to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Buyers' responsibilities

If you purchase the dataset, you are an independent controller of the data you receive. You must comply with applicable law when contacting people in it, including UK GDPR, PECR, and equivalent laws in your jurisdiction.

Retention and security

Order records are retained for as long as needed to provide free updates and meet legal obligations. Data is stored on access-controlled infrastructure.
